Community Guidelines

These Community Guidelines apply to Customers and Cleaning Professionals using Lumi Home.

1. Respect and Non-Discrimination

Treat others respectfully. Harassment, threats, intimidation, hate-based conduct, unlawful discrimination, sexual harassment, exploitation, or violence are prohibited.

2. Safety

Do not create unsafe working conditions. Customers must disclose known material hazards and aggressive animals. Cleaning Professionals must use reasonable care and follow applicable safety requirements. Either party should leave or seek assistance when there is an immediate safety concern.

3. Property and Personal Belongings

Cleaning Professionals must respect Customer property and may not take, conceal, misuse, or intentionally damage belongings. Customers should secure highly valuable, irreplaceable, or sensitive items before service when reasonably possible.

4. Honest Profiles and Bookings

Do not misrepresent identity, experience, property conditions, service requirements, location, availability, or booking details. Fraudulent bookings, fake reviews, false damage claims, and fabricated no-show reports are prohibited.

5. Platform Payments

Payments, refunds, and adjustments associated with Lumi Home bookings should be handled through authorized Platform payment flows where required by Lumi Home. Users may not use off-platform arrangements to evade disclosed platform charges or safety controls.

6. Communication

Use Platform communication tools responsibly. Do not spam, threaten, harass, or pressure another user to disclose unnecessary sensitive information.

7. Reviews

Reviews should be truthful and based on genuine experiences. Do not use reviews to extort, retaliate, manipulate ratings, or publish unlawful content.

8. Enforcement

Lumi Home may investigate reported violations and may warn, restrict, suspend, or terminate accounts when appropriate, subject to applicable law and the seriousness, evidence, and history of the conduct.
